Module Overview:
Dealing with conflicts and crisis is an important topic in Leadership. Sometimes it can be very hard, and it can give you sleepless nights. Some people try to avoid them always, but at the end it can create greater troubles. Others start a fight just from the beginning, to win the battle. Both styles can cause problems. How can we solve them in a healthier way? In this module we are looking to Biblical principles of conflict resolution. We also have a look in your preferred style and knowing if it’s effective or not. In leadership you always have to deal with different people and sometimes difficult characters which can cause conflicts. We will present different types of these and how to deal with them in an attitude of grace and truth. Sometimes you even have to deal with crisis. It can be disruptive, threatening, uncertain, difficult to manage well, crucial decisions are needed under time pressure and with limited information. How can you deal with this? We hope that at the end of the module, you have a better understanding and skills in how to solve a conflict in a healthy way and know a bit more about how to lead in time of crisis.

For this module we have an introduction meeting, 31th Janyuary, 4pm CET, about the content and how Pathwright is working. After this you can start with the content and we have 3 impact group meetings during this module: Wednesday 28th February (1), 20th March (2), Wednesday 10th April (3)

In this module we will consider:

Biblical stories of conflicts, and -principles of resolution
Different conflict resolution styles
Conflicts and the impact of the culture you are in
Creating insight in different characters which can cause potential conflicts
How to deal with people with these, for you, difficult characters
How to grow in solving conflicts in a healthy way.
Leadership in times of crisis

As a result of completing this module you will:

Have a better understanding of Biblical principles of dealing with conflicts
Understand your own style of dealing with conflicts
Have a better understanding of characters who can cause a conflict
Know how to deal with these characters, with grace and truth
Have a better understanding of how to solve conflicts in a healthier way
